Lvl Skill Build
1-5 lvl3 spear and lvl1 dopplewalk
6 ultimate
7-10 max spear and max dopple walk
onwards ultimate, juxapose then stats
Basically, the ultimate road to success for the Phantom Lancer is to ks! Join every gb which u think is possible of winning, and shamelessly spear every dying opponent. If the opponent seems too strong, quickly press "w" and go another lane to farm.
Item Build
First get a ror and 3 clarity pots. (since agile melee need life regen, and clarity for dw and spear)
Ultimately should get diffusal blade, but usually i'll get my robe first for the extra mana, since i wun be hitting pple much. Tt's why i maxed juxapose later.(diffusal because images can also have feedback)
Depends on whether i need the life, i might go for vitality booster for manta style, but try to finish up your purge before forging manta. If i don't need the life and i'm doing well ksing kills with my spear, i'll get radiance. Somehow it works well with pl. Only after i get my radiance do i forge my manta.
By then i'm already beyond godlike. so i'll go on to get aegis. but usually the game ends before i get aegis.
FAQs
Isn't s&y or eos good for PL as well?
Well, all i can say is s&y dun make ur images do alot of dmg. Also, if i'm not wrong, the images do not have the orb effects of both s&y and eos. but they do make ur images super duper uber hard to kill.
What about butterfly?
Okay, butterfly increases ur attack speed alot. But dmg-wise radiance is better. i used to get butterfly but i feel that radiance is more effective, with both farming and ksing.
What can I do if i meet a nuker or even 2 in my lane?
The most impt thing is stay back and level up. Even if they exp deny, you are still able to get the creeps that reach your tower. You can try to farm near ur tower too. Meanwhile, nuke the one w/o a ring or lesser health. and when u think u're ready to kill, just dw and spear him again. He'll be stunned cos he sees ur img near the tower.
What if i keep getting backstabbed?
... You can dw... if it fails, get maphack next time.
What if i'm stuck at the robe of magi?
If ur opponents are level 16 and you onli have a robe of magi, the best thing to do is to pull the cable that links your com to that hole on the wall.
